Mariama can now ride her bike to work!

Thank you for your support of the Village Bicycle Project bicycle repair workshop in Konjiaji, Ghana! Konjiaji is a village in the remote NW corner of Ghana where no English is spoken.

Thanks to your kind donation, Mariama received a bicycle. She plans on getting a carrier to make her bicycle more useful for her. She is a farmer and will carry heavy loads on her bike. She also plans to carry her cooking supplies so she can cook at the farm.

During the dry season, Mariama works in the quarry making gravel. Now, she can bike the three miles each way in order to save time and energy for herself!
