Mariama uses her bike to save time and money!

Mariama is 23 years old and lives in Konjiahi, Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Lisa, Mariama received a bicycle! She uses her bicycle to travel to her farm and also to carry the items she plans on selling at the Wa market. She can also buy and transport goods for her family more easily!

Before she got her bike, she would walk 2 miles each way to the main road. From there, Mariama would often wait for hours to get a ride in a private taxi, which is very expensive. Mariama also uses the bicycle to go to neighboring villages for community and social events!
