Abdu uses her bike to get around quickly

Abdu lives in Konjiahi, Ghana. Thanks to your donation, she received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it! She uses the bike to get to and from school.

Abdu was a very enthusiastic student in our workshop and says that the most important thing she learned was how to see when there’s a problem with her bicycle. She knows that if it can be fixed quickly, it will not cause other bigger problems.

Abdu’s bicycle makes it easier for her to get to school on time and come home quickly. Now, she has more time to help her family with chores, such as hauling water in a bucket one mile each way! She also has more time to work on her homework!
