Antiku is 13 years old and lives in Konjiahi, Ghana. Thanks to your donation, he received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it! Antiku was one of the best students in our first children’s class at Konjiahi. He earned the nickname “fitter” which means “bicycle repairer.”
Antiku will use his bike to ride two miles each way to his school in Kperisi, a neighboring village. He will also ride the bike to farm with his family, and maybe to Wa to sell produce and buy things that cannot be obtained in Konjiahi. Owning a bicycle makes it easier to get to school on time and come home quickly. Now, he can help his family with chores and do homework more easily.
Antiku is very thankful for your donation, Lee! Thank you for your support of Village Bicycle Project!
