Sayibu Gets to School on Time with His New Bike!

32 Near Dupari Sayibu Alahassan
Dear Sunny,

Sayibu Alahassan is a student  from near the village Dupari, located in the Upper West Region of Ghana.  His family and most people in Dupari are farmers and take their produce to Bulenga for sale, 5 km away.  There is no public transportation between Bulenga and Dupari, so most people walk.

Sayibu is a student who travels about 2 km to get to school in Dupari.  Thanks to your donation, Sayibu received a bicycle and learned how to take care of it! Sometimes when he walks, it is easy to be late and the teachers punish students for lateness.  “Now that I have a bicycle, I will not be late again!  Now I will not be tired too because the bicycle gives me extra time.” Now Sayibu can travel faster to and from school.  Owning a bike gives him more time to study, increase his attendance at school, and gives him time to help on the family farm. Life with a bicycle will be much easier!

Sayibu is very thankful for your donation, Sunny! Thank you for your support of Village Bicycle Project!
