Abotiynure can get to his farm and the market faster with his new bicycle!

Picture 086 Abotiynure Akelimplifa
Dear James,

Abotiynure is a farmer from Kandiga, a village in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Abotiynure received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Abotiynure uses his bike to go to his farm, which is more than 5 miles away, and to the markets in Navrongo and Bolgatanga, which are 11 miles away. People in this region of rural Africa either walk everywhere they go, or pay high fees to ride in private cars. Owning a bike allows Abotiynure to save time and money, and makes him more productive on his farm.

Abotiynure is very thankful for your donation, James! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
