Efua will earn more money and help her children get an education!

Efua lives in Kandiga, a village in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Efua received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it. Efua sells millet and rice at the local market. She will use her bike to go to the main town, which is 5 miles away, and carry the grain home. Efua has a load carrier for her bike, and says it helps a lot.

Efua says, “The bicycle will make life very good for me! I can carry a lot more rice on the bike than I can carry on my head, and I will earn enough extra money to pay school fees for my children and for my husband, too!” Owning a bike will save Efua hours every week, and will help her business and farm be more productive and successful.
