Adiiya uses her bike to increase her income!

Picture 029
Dear Toni,

Adiiya lives in Kadiga, a village in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Adiiya received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Adiiya and her son use the bike for buying and selling drinks that they purchase in another village, several miles away. They have a load carrier for the bike, and can carry twice as much as when walking.  This will increase their income substantially, and she is very happy. She says “I make more money.  I buy school uniforms, pens, books, school fees with the extra.” Owning a bike saves Adiiya many hours every week, and helps her to be more productive and successful.

Adiiya is very thankful for your donation, Toni!  Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
