Alasamae is able to transport and sell more rice with her new bike!

Picture 025
Dear Rhodes,

Alasamae lives in Kandiga, a village in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Alasamae received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Alasamae and her son use the bike for buying and selling rice. They have a load carrier for the bike, and can carry four times as much rice as when walking.  This will increase their income substantially, and she is very happy. She says “With the profits I can buy more food and ingredients.” Owning a bike will save Alasamae and her son many hours every week, and will help her business and farm be more productive and successful.

Alasamae is very thankful for your donation, Kelley!  Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
