Her new bicycle is helping Agadam to earn more money!

Picture 027
Dear Keith,

Agadam lives in Kandiga, a rural village in northern Ghana. She is a farmer and makes Shea butter to sell in the market.  Thanks to your donation, Agadam received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Agadam uses her bike to go to markets in the bigger town and buy shea nuts. She makes shea butter from the nuts and sells the shea butter in the local market. With the bicycle, she is able to buy and carry more Shea nuts than she could carry when walking. This gives her the ability to earn more money.  Agadam says, I will use the money to feed my children, some for soap for washing, some for insurance, some for school fees.  The bicycle changed our lives by bringing more money in.”

Agadam is very thankful for your donation, Keith!  Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
