Margret lives in a village called Kandiga, in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Margret received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Margret will share her bike with her husband, and together they will use the bike to work in their tomato garden. Their garden is about 5 miles away, and walking there wastes a lot of time and energy. Margret says “ The garden is far, and because of the bicycle we can go there earlier and water the crops! I now have more time and freedom because of the bicycle. I am a woman, so I use free time to cook, and my husband uses his free time to take care of the animals.” Owning a bike will save Margret and her husband many hours every week, and will help their family be more productive and successful.
Margret is very thankful for your donation, James! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
