Abomeetin lives in Kandiga, a village in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Abomeetin received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Abomeetin shares the bicycle with her whole family. She uses it to get to her farm, which is several miles away, and her son uses it to get to school in another town. Her husband uses the bike to get to the markets to buy the supplies they need. Abomeetin says, “The bicycle makes life better for people. I know that I can now save money and use it for school fees and uniforms. Now my daughter can go to the market for me!” Owning a bike will save Abomeetin many hours every week, and will help her to be more productive and successful.
Abomeetin is very thankful for your donation, Charlie! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
