Dear Papillong,

Amoama lives in Kandiga, a village in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Amoama received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Amoama uses the bike to get to her farmland and to the market several miles away. She shares the bike with her child who rides it to school. She says, “My child uses the bicycle to go to school and after school I use it to go to farm. The bicycle helps me because I can get to the farm early, and I can get home quickly to cook for my children. Without the bicycle, It took me hours walk to the farm, but now I have more time to work there. The bicycle gives me time to weed more and grow more food. I am very glad for this bike!

Owning a bike will save Amoama many hours every week, and will help her to be more productive and successful.

Amoama is very thankful for your donation, Papillong!  Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
