Aberiro Can Transport Grain Fast!

Dear Jim,

Aberiro Charity lives in the village called Kandiga, in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Aboninge received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Aberiro shares the bike with her son, and they use it to get to their farm and to the market several miles away. The family grows millet on their farm, and uses the bike to carry the grain from the fields to the grinding mill. Without the bike, they carried the grain in baskets on their heads while walking. Aberiro says “The bicyle has helped us because if we want to go any place, we go fast!  It has helped us a lot! “

Owning a bike will save Aberiro and her family many hours every week, and will help them be more productive and successful.
