Dear Thomas,
Alogipabe Agogu lives in the village called Kandiga, in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Alogipabe received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Alogipabe uses it to get to her farm and to the market several miles away. She also will use her bike to get to Sumbrungo, which is 25 km away! Anibire’s children ride the bike to run errands for their parents, and at time to get to school, which is 6 km from their house. She says “This is the only bicycle in our family. It helps us go to the places we need to go and it saves us a lot of time! For example, if I need my son to go to market now he can also come back and work on the farm on the same day. Before (walking) it would be too late for him to do this! This makes life much easier for everyone!” Owning a bike will save Alogipabe and her family many hours every week, and will help her more productive and successful.
Anibire is very thankful for your donation, Thomas! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
