Aymnevosego gets lots of help from her bike!

Picture 057
Dear Ruth,

Aymnevosego lives in Kandiga, a village in rural northern Ghana.  She is a farmer, and her 16 year old son is a student, and they will share the bike.  Their farm and the school are both 2 miles from their house. Thanks to your donation, Aymnevosego received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Aymnevosego’s son taught her how to ride the bike.  She will use her bike to carry her produce, and will ride it to the Kandiga market.  Now she can get quickly where she needs to go.

In rural Africa, most people walk everywhere they go.  Owning a bike saves time and money, and makes life a lot more productive! Aymnevosego said, “I now know how to ride a bicycle, and any place I want to go I can go fast!  My son goes to school and he can also get to the farm which really helps us!”

Aymnevosego is very thankful for your donation, Ruth!  Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
