Dear Ioana,

Ayoni Alogiyame lives in the village called Kandiga, in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Ayoni received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Ayoni uses it to get to her farm and to the market several miles away. She also will use her bike to get to Bolga, which is 25 km away! In Bolga, she will attend the women’s community association meetings, which provide good information on taking care of their health, home and family. She says “The bicycle has helped us do things fast and to go and come back fast.” Ayoni’s son is also hoping to use the bike to make his travels to school much quicker!  Owning a bike will save Ayoni many hours every week, and will help her be more productive and successful.

Ayoni is very thankful for your donation, Ioana! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
