Anayimah lives in Kandiga, a village in rural northern Ghana. She is a homemaker, farmer, and community activist. Thanks to your donation, Anayimah received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Anayimah uses her bike to go to town to run errands, about a mile away. She also lends her bike to her son, who helps the family on the farm and with errands.
Before the bike, Anayimah carried everything on her head while walking. She said “The bicycle has helped us a lot because I can carry more on the bike. But my son can carry on both the bicycle and on his head at the same time! This makes our life much, much better .” Owning a bike will save Anayimah’s family time, money for transport and help them all be more productive.
Anayimah is very thankful for your donation, David! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project
