Ata-mpore lives in Kandiga, in rural northern Ghana. Thanks to your donation, Ata-mpore received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Ata-mpore will share his bike with his children. He will ride to the market, 2 miles away, a couple times per week. He will use the bike to visit his parents and relatives in the evenings, and the children will ride 2 miles to school. He says, “We use the bicycle to go to farm, which is after Kandiga Junction. My daughter uses it for this, because she can carry the ground nuts. The bicycle helps us because we can carry our harvest, and carry food to cook, and my daughter can also sew things!” Owning a bike will save Ata-mpore hours every week, and will help his family be more productive and successful.
Ata-mpore is very thankful for your donation, Laurent! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
