Emmanuel is so happy to ride instead of walk!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Dear Lisa,

Emmanuel lives in a farming village in southern Ghana. The village is at the end of a rough road, with about 2000 residents. Five or six mini-buses make the round trip daily to the coast highway, but the area is very rural, and travel is difficult. Thanks to your donation, Emmanuel received a bike and was taught how to take care of it.

Emmanuel is 12 years old and will use his bike to ride to the family farm, 3 km. away, where they grow sugar cane. He will also ride his new bike to school. Without a bike, he had to walk hours every day in the hot sun. His mother bought him the bike and has big plans for Emmanuel to do the family errands on the bike. Emmanuel is excited because he likes to ride and work on bikes. Owning a bike saves time and energy for Emmanuel and his family, and makes life a lot more productive!

Emmanuel is very thankful for your donation, Lisa!  Thank you, for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
