Kadiatu helps other girls learn to ride bicycles!

L11_Kadiatu Kabia
Dear Doug,

Kadiatu lives in Lunsar, Sierra Leone, a rural community 120 miles from the capital of Freetown. Thanks to your donation, Kadiatu received a bike and was taught how to take care of it.

Kadiatu has never owned a bicycle. She is very diligent about maintaining her bike by putting air in the tires and cleaning and oiling the chain every two weeks.

She uses her bike to visit her friends, and she also travels on her bike to work in neighboring villages and schools where she helps teach young girls how to ride bicycles with the Village Bicycle Project (VBP). Owning a bike saves time and energy for Kadiatu, and allows her to help many other girls learn to ride!

Kadiatu is very thankful for your donation, Doug! Thanks for supporting VBP.
