Vidah saves time and energy with her new bike!

Dear Neal,

Vidah Ankama is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western boarder next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this small town are farmers, because the soil is fairly good there.  People in Bodaa walk most places they go, and waste valuable time getting places. Thanks to your donation, Vidah received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Vidah is 20 years old and uses her new bicycle to go to her farm, about 5 km away, where she grows yams.  She used to walk and carry the yams back to town on her head, but now she has a bicycle, which saves her a lot of time and allows her to more easily carry her produce. Owning a bike saves time and energy for Vidah, and makes life a lot more productive for her!

Vidah is very thankful for your donation, Neal!  Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
