Erica will save many hours each week riding her new bike!

Dear Heather,

Erica is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western boarder next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there.  People in Bodaa walk most places they go, and waste valuable time getting where need to go. Thanks to your donation, Erica received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Erica is an 18 year old Junior High School graduate, and now works on her mom’s farm which is 2km away from their home. Before, she always walked to the farm, and had to carry the heavy equipment she uses, and then carry the produce home. Now she can ride her bike to the farm and is
very happy about it. She shares the bike with her brother who also helps on the
farm sometimes. Owning a bike saves time, energy for Erica, and makes life a lot more productive!

Erica is very thankful for your donation, Heather!  Thanks for your support of the Village
Bicycle Project!
