Asimah saves hours every week on her bike!

Dear Kandace,

Agnes Asimah is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western boarder next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there. People in Bodaa walk most places they go, and they waste many hours of valuable time every week.

Agnes is a vegetable farmer, and thanks to your donation, she received a bicycle and learned how to care for it. Agnes will use her bicycle to go to the farm, about 5 km away from her home. Before she got the bicycle, she used to walk to her farm and it took a lot of time. Now she can come and go much more quickly. She shares the bicycle with her husband who goes to the farm with it too, and also goes to Densu, a nearby village where he buys his things like fertilizer, seeds and chemicals. Owning a bike saves time and energy for Agnes and her family, and makes life a lot more productive!

Agnes is very thankful for your donation, Kandace!  Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
