Michael Akwah is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western boarder next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there. People in Bodaa walk most places they go, and they waste many hours of valuable time every week.
Michael is a cashew farmer, and thanks to your donation, he received a bicycle and learned how to care of it. Michael will use his bicycle to go to the farm, about 3.5km away from his home. He has been walking there every day and is looking forward to having more time and strength for farming and other things when he rides his bike. Owning a bike saves time and energy for Michael and his family, and makes life a lot more productive!
Michael is very thankful for your donation, Chris and Emily! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
