Hannah is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western border next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there. People in Bodaa walk most places they go, which wastes valuable time.
Hannah is 23 years old and a hair stylist apprentice. Thanks to your donation, she received a bicycle and learned how to care for it. Hannah’s workplace is in Sunyani, another village. Hannah does farm work with her father in Bodaa, and used to walk between the two villages. Hannah also shares her new bike with her father. Hannah can now bike back and forth and saves valuable time and energy for her and her family. Owning a bike helps Hannah have more time to follow her dreams!
Hannah is very thankful for your donation, Joel! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
