Kwesi is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western border next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there. People in Bodaa walk most places they go, which wastes valuable time.
Kwesi is a cocoa and cashew farmer, and thanks to your donation, received a bicycle and learned how to care for it. Kwesi will use his bicycle to go to his farm, about 3 km away from his home. Kwesi walks to his farm every day, and looks forward to being able to go places he needs to go quickly and with less effort. He also shares his bike with his family, and they are very excited. Owning a bike saves time and energy for Kwesi and his family, and makes life a lot easier and more productive!
Kwesi is very thankful for your donation, Joel! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
