Nketia is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western border next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there. People in Bodaa walk most places they go, which wastes valuable time.
Nketia is a cashew farmer, and thanks to your donation, received a bicycle and learned how to care for it. Nketia will use his bicycle to go to his farm, about 5km away from his home. He used to walk to his farm every day, but now he can bike, saving time and energy for increasing his crop and helping his family. Owning a bike makes life a lot easier for Nketia!
Nketia is very thankful for your donation, Kelly! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
