Johny is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western boarder next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there. People in Bodaa walk most places they go, and waste valuable time getting places they need to go. Thanks to your donation, Johny received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Johny is a 21 year old business man who owns a small neighborhood drinking spot. He rides the bicycle to the neighboring town to buy his supplies. He used to walk, and carry the supplies home. Taking public transportation is so slow and expensive that Johny prefered walking. Now he is so happy, as owning a bike saves time, energy, and money, and makes life a lot more productive!
Johny is very thankful for your donation, Tim and Sherie! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
