Samuel loves to ride instead of walk!

Dear Tom,

Samuel Adu-Kwesi is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western boarder next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there.  People in Bodaa walk most places they go, and waste valuable time getting places they need to go. Thanks to your donation, Stephen received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Samuel is a 54 year old cashew farmer.  His farm is over 5 miles away, and he spends an hour and a half walking each way, while carrying heavy tools and supplies.  With the help of the bike, Samuel can now more easily get to the farm and back, and still have time to work around his house. He also shares his bike with his son, who is thrilled to have some transportation other than walking.

Samuel is very thankful for your donation, Tom!  Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
