Samuel is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western boarder next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1000 people are farmers, and the soil is fairly good there. People in Bodaa walk most places they go, and waste valuable time getting places they need to go. Thanks to your donation, Samuel received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Samuel is an 18 year old student who has just finished school, and is waiting for the results of his exams. For now he is helping his mother work on the family farm which is 5 km away. He absolutely loves to ride around and is able to do his work, and have time to visit his friends, too. His friends are very envious of his bike! His mother is very happy too. Owning a bike saves time and energy for Samuel, and makes life a lot more productive and enjoyable!
Samuel is very thankful for your donation, Mariana! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
