Augustine is from Bodaa, Ghana, on the western border of the country next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1,000 people are farmers due to the rich soil there. People in Bodaa walk most places they go and waste valuable time in the process. Thanks to your donation, Augustine received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Augustine is a 45 year-old school teacher who used to walk three kilometers to and from school. With his new bike from Village Bicycle Project, he can get to school more quickly, which gives him more time to prepare for class and more time for other chores at home. Augustine said that owning a bike will change his life for the better and allow him to be more involved with community events. Owning a bike saves a lot of time and energy for Augustine and makes life a lot more productive!
Augustine is very thankful for your donation! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
