Eli’s life is better with his bike!

Eli is a 42 year-old blacksmith and cassava farmer from Frankadua, Ghana. Most people in this area are farmers because the soil is rich in nutrients. People in this region walk everywhere and waste valuable time getting around. Thanks to your donation, Eli received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.

Eli used to have to walk one to two kilometers to reach his farm or a nearby town, but now that he has a bicycle from VBP, all his daily activities have been easy. He also shares his bicycle with his friend, who uses it to cut down his commute to school.
