Gladys is from Bodaa, Ghana, a town on the western border of the country next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1,000 people are farmers and waste valuable time because they have no means of transportation besides walking. Thanks to your donation, Gladys received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it.
Gladys is a 25 year-old cashew farmer. Due to her new bike from Village Bicycle Project, she is able to travel the twelve kilometers to her farm much more quickly and more often, improving her crop production and her income. Gladys said that owning a bike will change her life for the better and allow her to be more involved with community events. Owning a bike saves a lot of time, energy, and money for Gladys, and makes life a lot more productive!
Gladys is very thankful for your donation, Tom! Thank you for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
