Comfort is from Bodaa, Ghana, a town on the western boarder next to Cote D’Ivoire. Most people in this town of about 1,000 people are farmers, as this is the only available job. People in Bodaa have no mode of transportation besides walking and waste valuable time getting around.
Comfort is a student, and thanks to your donation, she received a bicycle and learned how to care of it. Comfort shares the bike with her sister and they both use it to get to school, which is three kilometers away from home. Comfor’ts new bike saves her time and energy — it gives her more quality time with her family and to devote to her home work.
Comfort is very thankful for your donation, Kate! Thanks for your support of the Village Bicycle Project!
