Abdulai is a student from outside the village of Dupari, located in the Upper West Region of Ghana. There is no public transportation to Dupari from the main town, so most people walk where they need to go.
Thanks to your donation, Abdulai received a bicycle and was taught how to take care of it. Abdulai will use his new bicycle to get to the school in Dupari. Normally he says he spends two hours walking each day. He says, “I will also ride the bike to go to our farm or to extra classes. If I don’t have time to work on my family’s farm I cannot get money to pay my school fees. Owning this bike will make my work easier and faster.” This bike will help Abdulai stay in school.
Abdulai is very thankful for your donation, Joel! Thank you for your support of Village Bicycle Project!
