Mahama is a student from Dupari, a village located in the Upper West Region of Ghana. His family and most people in Dupari are farmers who grow yams, corn, peanuts, millett and sorghum. Mahama goes to school in Chaggo which is about 3 miles from Dupari. He leaves to go to school at 6:00 am and comes home at 3:30 pm.
Thanks to your donation, Mahama received a bicycle and learned how to take care of it! Now he can get faster to school. Owning a bike gives him more time to study, will increase his attendance at school, and gives him time to help on the family farm. Life with a bicycle will be much easier!
Mahama is very thankful for your donation, John! Thank you for your support of Village Bicycle Project!
